I had a great experience with the Invisalign express process through Shoreview Orthodontics! I was able to complete my treatment in less than 6 months and it was pretty painless and very convenient. My only appointments were for my initial visit, picking up the trays, when I finished my trays, and picking up my retainers. How do I clean my Invisalign clear aligners?
It’s easy! We recommend rinsing your aligners every time you take them out. For a deep clean, soak them once a day in a cleaning solution to keep them fresh and free of bacteria. You can use a soft toothbrush to gently brush away any debris before putting them back in.
How many hours a day do I wear my aligners?
To get the best results, you should wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. Typically, you’ll move to a new set of aligners every week or 2. We use the Smile Doctors Anywhere app so you can send us quick scans of your smile from your phone, letting us check your progress without you having to drive to the office every week.
Can I still play sports with Invisalign aligners?
Absolutely! Invisalign treatment is great for active lives. You can wear them while playing most sports. If you play a contact sport that requires a mouthguard, just take your aligners out and put your mouthguard in. It’s that simple.
